all heard this cliché before, but we started our journey as separate entities, that became one unit with
the hopes of creating magic.
So (Joel Philip, the vocalist) first met Michael Timothy at Mission 3:16, (the band) and our vibes and
interest instantly aligned, which then led to numerous jam session which cresendoed to the
epiphany, “Why don’t we branch out and create some music ...

to that.
I met my other future band mate, Sam George at church where we played together and built a quick
rapport.
So back to, “Hey let’s form a band!” When Michael and I came up with the idea the first person to
pop into mind to complete the faction was Sam because of his insane musical skills and shared
interests when it came to music genre.
Thus, JoelandtheBAND was born! *Slow claps, people!*
